My Origin Story

The work was formed before it had a name.

Chapter 01: Nigeria

A beginning shaped by gratitude, faith, and culture.

I was born in Nigeria, and something from that beginning never left. It lives in how I see family, responsibility, faith, and what it means to stay grounded when life refuses to cooperate. My name means"give thanks to God." Not as a performance of positivity, but as a posture. It taught me early that you can hold difficulty and still find colour in it. That lesson has followed me everywhere.

Chapter 02: Moved to UK

Learning to read rooms before I had language for it.

Moving to the UK as a child put me in spaces where I didn't fully belong yet. I learned quickly how to watch, how to listen beneath what was being said, and how to navigate rules nobody had written down. I didn't know I was being trained. I just knew attention was survival. Years later, that same attention became the foundation of how I coach, facilitate, and build rooms where people can finally say the true thing.

Chapter 03: Husband & Father

The roles that shaped more of me than any title.

I lead with these because they've cost me the most and taught me the most. Being a husband and a father has required a version of me that couldn't hide behind performance or position. Nobody is applauding at 11pm when the hard conversation needs to happen. Fatherhood in particular forced a question I couldn't avoid: who am I actually becoming, not just what am I building?

Chapter 04: Corporate Career

Finance, systems, technology, and people under pressure.

I trained as a chartered accountant and spent years inside complex organisations, working across commercial finance, transformation, technology implementation, and turnaround. I worked across cultures and continents. I got good at understanding how money and systems move. But the thing I couldn't stop noticing was how people moved, specifically what happened to capable, intelligent people when the pressure got real. That question never let me go.

Chapter 05: Entrepreneurial Career

Building the practice around the problem I could not unsee.

I kept watching it happen. Someone would say exactly the right thing in the meeting, then become someone else entirely when the stakes rose. I saw it in leaders around me. Then I had to sit with the moments I was doing it too. That's where the Intention Gap came from: the distance between who you intend to be and who actually shows up when it costs you something. MindsetShift was built to close that gap, because I couldn't pretend it wasn't there.

Core Philosophy

What I Believe

Six guiding beliefs that structure our advisory work, workshops, and coaching engagements.

Leadership is identity, not performance.

The leaders I sit with are often doing everything right on paper and feeling nothing like themselves. The work begins where the role ends.
